1. The Service
ChangeCheck is a web-based tool that allows users to compare files and view differences. ChangeCheck is operated by a private individual based in Sweden. The service is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind.
2. Credits & Payments
- Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy and subject to their applicable terms
- Usage is based on credits
- Credits never expire
- Credits are consumed upon use, including partially used credits
3. No Refund Policy
Due to the immediate and irreversible nature of file processing and credit usage, all purchases are final to the extent permitted by law. No refunds will be issued.
If a system error prevents successful processing, credits may be restored within a short grace period.
4. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Uploading valid files
- Ensuring you have the right to process the files
- Verifying results before relying on them
- Not using the service for illegal purposes
- Not using the service for safety-critical, medical, or legal decision-making
You acknowledge that automated file comparison may produce incomplete or inaccurate results.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Data loss
- Incorrect comparisons
- Business decisions made based on the output
- Downtime or service interruptions
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the last 30 days. Use the service at your own risk.
6. Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Changes to the Service
We may modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice. Unused credits are not refundable if the service is discontinued.
8. Changes to These Terms
Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use means acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the service, including the content of files you upload.
